https://jurnal.ranahresearch.com/index.php/R2J/article/view/1979

Muhammad IlyasSodikin Sodikin

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that targets and attacks the human immune system. Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is an immunosuppressive condition (syndrome) closely associated with various opportunistic infections, secondary neoplasms, and certain neurological manifestations resulting from HIV infection. Adherence to antiretroviral therapy is a key factor in achieving optimal viral load suppression. Viral load testing is one indicator of the success of ARV treatment. The higher the viral load in the blood, the faster HIV disease progresses. Objective: To determine the relationship between adherence to antiretroviral medication and viral load levels in HIV/AIDS patients with syphilis co-infection at H. Adam Malik General Hospital. Methods: This study used an analytical observational research design with purposive sampling techniques, namely measuring antiretroviral medication adherence and viral load levels in HIV/AIDS patients with syphilis co-infection. Results: Of the 100 study subjects, the majority were male (82%) with the largest age group being 25-35 years (48%). The results of the analysis showed a highly significant relationship between the MMAS-8 compliance level and viral load status (χ² = 31.248; df = 2; p = 0.001). There was a clear pattern showing that the higher the level of adherence, the greater the proportion of patients who achieved viral suppression. Only 39% of patients achieved high adherence (score of 8), and there was a dramatic difference in viral suppression between low adherence (14.8%), moderate adherence (55.9%), and high adherence (76.9%).
Triza Via SukmaElviyanti Br TariganBoyke Marthin SimbolonMasita Unjuk Br GintingChristian Michael Oloan Sitompul

https://jurnal.ranahresearch.com/index.php/R2J/article/view/2003

The study aims to determine working mothers at PT XYZ. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The t-test results partially indicate that family support has a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being (β = 0.702; p = 0.046 < 0.05), suggesting that higher levels of family support are associated with greater psychological well-being. In contrast, emotional regulation does not significantly influence psychological well-being (β = −0.402; p = 0.164 > 0.05), indicating that the respondent’s ability to regulate emotions does not directly improve psychological well-being among working mothers in this study. The F-test results indicate that emotional regulation and family support do not have a significant effect on psychological well-being (F = 2.989; p = 0.062). This implies that other elements are more pivotal in shaping psychological well-being, such as an individual’s capacity to control emotions, social support, life goals, mastery over their environment, autonomy, personal growth, and self-acceptance (Ryff, 1989).
Eriyanti SamillahKartika NuradinaBenny Bernadus

2026-02-132026-02-13821064107810.38035/rrj.v8i2.2003Shoulder Injuries in Padel Players: a Systematic Review
https://jurnal.ranahresearch.com/index.php/R2J/article/view/2011

Shoulder injuries are among the most common orthopedic problems in padel athletes due to the sport’s repetitive overhead movements, rapid rotations, and high mechanical load on the glenohumeral joint. This study aimed to analyze the prevalence, characteristics, and risk factors of shoulder injuries in padel players based on a systematic review of research articles published between 2022 and 2025. The method employed was a systematic review following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Articles were selected according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings indicate that upper extremity injuries, particularly shoulder injuries, show a significant incidence among padel players. The most frequently reported conditions include rotator cuff tendinopathy, shoulder impingement syndrome, and scapulohumeral biomechanical alterations. Major risk factors identified were overuse, muscle strength asymmetry, altered shoulder kinematics, and high training loads without adequate periodization. Diagnosis was commonly established through a combination of orthopedic clinical examination and imaging modalities such as MRI or ultrasound. In conclusion, shoulder injuries in padel athletes are closely associated with biomechanical factors and training load. Preventive strategies focusing on rotator cuff strengthening and scapular stabilization are recommended to reduce injury risk and optimize athletic performance.
Miranda SeptianiRA Lisya Anggraeni Sulistyaningsih
