Konstruksi Makna Fashion Warna Sage Green Sebagai Bagian dari Komunikasi Identitas (Studi Fenomenologi pada Wanita di Jakarta)

Abstract

Tren warna sage green mulai diikuti oleh banyak masyarakat Indonesia pada perayaan Hari Raya Idul Fitri 2023. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh salah satu selebritis Indonesia bernama Maudy Ayunda dan keluarga yang mengenakan baju lebaran berwarna sage. Tren menggunakan baju lebaran berwarna sage tersebut menjadi viral. Berangkat dari fenomena tersebut, penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana konstruksi makna fashion lebaran warna sage green dalam membentuk komunikasi identitas pada wanita DKI Jakarta. Menggunakan teori semiotika dan teori komunikasi identitas, penelitian ini akan mengkaji bagaimana komunikasi nonverbal artifaktual merepresentasikan makna  penggunaan benda pakaian dan mengaitkannya dengan pengguna tren fashion lebaran sage green sebagai simbol identitas diri informan. Adapun penelitian akan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi interpretatif, dengan informan yang berjumlah tiga orang dipilih melalui teknik purposive recruitment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada personal layer, informan lebih menunjukkan actual self dibanding ideal self. Peneliti juga menemukan pada relational layer terdapat pengaruh besar dari media sosial dan keluarga atau orang terdekat terhadap fashion informan. Selain itu pada enacted layer, informan memaknai sage green sebagai warna yang universal, nyaman, tenang, mudah di mix and match, seimbang, simpel, tidak mencolok, enak dilihat dan warna yang sedang booming dan pada communal layer, tanggapan informan terhadap pengikut tren sage green maupun tanggapan lingkungan eksternal terhadap informan yang mengikuti tren sage green lebih bernada positif dibanding negatif.
